Book Essay

My most Important skills for creating this book, came from using the computer pen to simulate the stroke of a brush, I have used a "computery" only once before while over at a friends house. I chose to use a paint brush style for my children's book, and I didn't fill in all of my strokes to enhance the paint brush motif. While making this I just sort of made the art as I went along, I didn't really plan out when I would create each piece, I just created them. I plan on probably making it once, to show to my family. Then post the JPEGs on Facebook.

Portrait Essay

For my other, I just took the picture when it look nice, It didn't ask or notify at all.
I didn't adjust any of my photos, I thought they looked good as they were.
I'm using a crappy Iphone camera; and because Apple likes to make one button user interfaces for the mentally challenged, I was unable to alter like any of my camera's settings. I've seen people using 3rd party apps that allow basic camera control, but I don't have any of them.

Toy Essay

Fraction Jackson was a Nick name I was given last year in High school. After a while it became an inside joke between me and my friends. One of my more artistic pals drew up concept art for a Fraction Jackson comic book. When I first saw the toy template I knew I needed to make a Fraction Jackson Cube.
When choosing the colors for my toy, I mainly just free handed the color choice. For the black I turned down the opacity a bit so that the builder can see the lines.
     Nope.
The First thing I did was lay down the paint of the costume. I started with red and added the black half on top of that. Then I but on his beard, eyes, and chest symbol. and finally I put the glass for his visor on top and turned down the opacity.
The comic concept that me and my "bros" came up with, had it's own story where Fraction Jackson is bitten by a radioactive denominator in a freak algebra accident, and ends up facing off against his arch nemesis Irrational Frank. Eventually it the story got so ridiculous that it was likened to Dr. McNinja in terms of how much BS it had.
Not really, I feel that It comes from a stand point of being a sculpting process for the masses while at the same time being simply a general hobbie like ships in bottles or model train.
