Toy Essay

Fraction Jackson was a Nick name I was given last year in High school. After a while it became an inside joke between me and my friends. One of my more artistic pals drew up concept art for a Fraction Jackson comic book. When I first saw the toy template I knew I needed to make a Fraction Jackson Cube.
When choosing the colors for my toy, I mainly just free handed the color choice. For the black I turned down the opacity a bit so that the builder can see the lines.
     Nope.
The First thing I did was lay down the paint of the costume. I started with red and added the black half on top of that. Then I but on his beard, eyes, and chest symbol. and finally I put the glass for his visor on top and turned down the opacity.
The comic concept that me and my "bros" came up with, had it's own story where Fraction Jackson is bitten by a radioactive denominator in a freak algebra accident, and ends up facing off against his arch nemesis Irrational Frank. Eventually it the story got so ridiculous that it was likened to Dr. McNinja in terms of how much BS it had.
Not really, I feel that It comes from a stand point of being a sculpting process for the masses while at the same time being simply a general hobbie like ships in bottles or model train.
